     Does anyone else hoard hobbies? As in like, constantly bouncing between different pastimes and just wanting to do everything. Obviously I like drawing and sewing and such, but I also like: 

  • Collecting physical media (Records, CDs, Cassettes, DVDs, Zines... all of it, really) 
  • Making homemade recycled paper
  • Baking/Cooking
  • Making jewelry 
and these are just the ones I do right now. I've also been considering getting into wig making. I think my constant need to do different hobbies comes from me never really being able to do stuff when I was younger. My parents didn't necessarily forbid me from doing anything, but our family's lifestyle did make it quite hard to enjoy anything consistently. We were always moving, which made it hard to keep hobbies. My parents also constantly complained about my hobbies being too messy, too expensive, too time consuming, etc... This has pretty much made me do all the hobby hopping you'd usually do as a child much later in life. Or maybe it's just an attempt to seem cool and artsy and mysterious to get people to like me. Whatever the case, you'll probably hear about it all here. Anyway, I'm gonna go pretend to be interesting in some other way. Bye for now!

      I don't have too much to share this week. I finished the primary patch sewing for my soda can pants, now I just need to add the can tabs how I want them. I haven't started on that yet, but I'll be sure to post pictures when I do!      School's been going pretty well. Honestly, I've always found projects like this uninteresting.  Hello! I'm so excited to post my first blog post for y'all! My goal is to update the blog and weekly song every sunday. I'll mostly be posting about things that I'm working on, but I might also just ramble about my day if I have nothing else to report.       Currently, I'm working on using cut up soda cans to patch/embellish my clothing. I've actually been working on this for a while, but I've only recently started making notable progress. Here's an image of the pants I've been working on!  I also plan to sew the can tabs to the other pocket kinda like sequins or something, but I want to get the main sewing done first. I'll be sure to add the finished product to my gallery!      Well, that's all I have for now. Classes start back up on Monday, so I have to prepare for that. Bye for now!

     Yesterday was my birthday. I had gotten my hair done the day prior, but I didn't really do much on the actual day, just got boba and did school work. Here's a picture of my new hair (it looks a lot brighter in better lighting, lol). Can you tell I'm REALLY into the black/yellow color scheme? Anyway, I've never really celebrated my birthday. I've just never really had the funds or the social circle to have a proper party.       The last time I threw anything even remotely like a birthday party was my 10th birthday. We lived in Florida at the time, and the "party" consisted of me, my parents, and two friends from school.
